Bridal Registry Emergency!

What do you do when your beloved china pattern gets retired a few months before your wedding? Yes, that's right! I received the crushing news from my mother today that my Marc Jacobs for Waterford Misia has been retired and stores will have difficulty fulfilling the demand for it. So now I am frustrated and am back to the drawing board!

Close of the semester and one wedding down!

The semester has come to a close and my sister's wedding has taken place --- and what a beautiful day! So, I will soon have time to begin blogging once again! Girl's Weekend

It feels like a Ben Kweller Day.....

Ben Kweller just love him, his music just gets to me, it definitely takes me back! It's crazy to see how far he's made it, I mean I feel like I hear his songs everywhere now...movies, tv shows, and in stores! I remember him "back in the day" in the local Dallas music scene playing at places like The Door and Trees. He was part of the band Radish and he was just on the verge of success. I remember I about died when they were on David Lettermen.

Did you say dinner jacket?

My fiance comes from a family of haberdashers and has an appreciation for fashion. So, when he mentioned that he would like to get a dinner jacket for the reception, you can imagine my excitement! He is an old soul who loves Bond and noir films, so the look totally fits his persona to a T! We still need to work on the budget, so it is not set in stone, but I have my fingers crossed!

Updates Galore!!

The wedding planning process is stressful, especially when trying to coordinate bridesmaid, jr. bridesmaid, and groomsmen attire! What a challenge! You see a dress you love online, but it can't be located in a store to try on -- or then someone tries it on and it's really not cute -- forcing you to go back to the drawing board! BLURG! Well, today a plan has finally come together! I am pumped! I am so thankful that my uncle's cousin owns a bridal boutique in NY and will help pull this all together! Check her out at RK BRIDAL!
